de Bernd 2025-11-23 08:41:34 No. 24348
I bought these fuckers for my breakfast and damn they were so incredibly tasty and juicy. If you want to spice up your breakfast, buy blackberries.
>>24348 >I bought They literally grow everywhere
It's November though. Where did they come from? Blackberries grow in summer.
>>24349 Not in winter. >>24350 Peru
>>24350 Ah wait, the blueberries are from Peru, the blackberries are from Mexico
They grow everywhere here as well, but the issue is that people poison them so they might not be safe to eat. I like them though.
in this part of Europe in the south - like in Ukraine - we have this other species of resembling looking berries looked it up: called black mulberry it's much sweeter than blackberries
>>24349 I used to pick them along the railway line behind the university.
>>24353 >but the issue is that people poison them so they might not be safe to eat. That's actually a good idea, I get it reduces the populations of homeless and refugee niggers.
This is a blackberry thread, don't make this about /pol/
>>24349 The ones that grow everywhere here are an invasive neophyte unfortunately. They got banned this year, so garden owners can't buy the invasive type anymore. I'm talking about the one with the red thorns, not the one with the green thorns.
>>24357 Sure if it was in urban areas maybe, but there aren't such people in the wilds and the farmlands.
>>24353 >They grow everywhere here as well, but the issue is that people poison them so they might not be safe to eat. Never heard about that. It's not uncommon here to see the elderly picking them. Usually besides hiking-routes and such. But nobody picks the one near the ground. Legend says, because animals always pissing on them.
>>24398 It's because they aren't native and they spread everywhere. So the council and farmers will try to get rid of them from parks and farmland and stuff.
>>24406 That Bernd had heard about indeed. But here in Germany, the blackberry bushes usually are getting cut back to the stump from time to time to prevent to much spreading.
We have them in the garden. We make jam out of em so we can have it in winter too.
