How fast/slow do you type? I started with 66wpm today and after a bit of practice I just about managed to break 100wpm, but consistent wpm is probably closer to 80wpm. https://monkeytype.com/ retards post your results too, not just braggers like usually
These are bad tests because they measure reading speed more than typing speed.
>>23226 yes but you have to test your might
Turbo zoomer mode: phone typing plus second screen for added distraction. On a PC I reliably score >100 wpm but I'm already in bed.
faster than I expected tbh, I'm a pretty clumsy typer
>>23232 My phone typing is slow af my thumbs are too big
>>23232 with a touchscreen i write like a grandma. but i can still type rather fast with a dumbphone even though the last time I had one was almost two decades ago. i don't remember what it was exactly but just a few months ago i had to type the dumbphone way for some reason and realized i still got it.

This is why I had to cheat to pass typing class. You had to type the same thing twice, then submit the best one. I would just type one version very slowly.
it all doesn't make sense if you don't use the blind method

Day 2. HUGE improvements after one night of sleep! 💪💪💪 I also changed it from 30s to 15s to make it easier :D but i did that yesterday already and struggled to break 100 by repeating the same test. Now I broke 100 on my first try. t. OP

The only trophy Bernd ever brought home was from the typing championship. Yes it existed. During the mid 2000s. Bernd always lost hard at the Bundesjugendspiele. Bernds brother got the sports ace medal shit, and he was in soccer, basketball and other retarded normie shit. But Bernd was in the typewriting class at school to learn typing with ten fingers. The teacher would put wooden boxes over our hands and keyboards so that we had to type blindly, and hold a speech which we had to type down without typos. 3 typos and you're out, the backspace button was disabled. In one year, the teacher proceeded to have us participate in the federal fast typing competition. Bernd didn't realise it because he disliked the cunt of a teacher. But he had been training a lot before because of heated Internet debates in IRC the night prior. The competition was not a speech but just a huge text on screen which we had to type down as much as we could for ten minutes. So it was very easy for Bernd Many people here may not realise that your apm, Anschläge pro Minute, button presses per minute, go down significantly if you type more than a few minutes without pausing. So the ten minute average metric is used in competitions, and of course, it must be with zero mistakes. Bernd submitted and was very surprised to hear a week later that he got first place of the region. He was invited to a winner ceremony two towns over. He got a framed first place winner certificate and a 20€ book coupon. Bernd was very proud, it was the first time Bernds mom had to drive Bernd somewhere and not his brother. On the way back, Bernd told his mom proudly that we can now make a spot on the wall for Bernds certificate next to his brothers trophies, too. He hoped for encouragement but Bernds mom just said nothing. The certificate was not hung up in the end, but Bernd loved reading, so the 20€ book coupon at the local bookshop was welcome. Bernd bought pic related, it was okay. It was about suicide on new years eve. Bernd likes the book because it reminds him of his victory.
>>23399 Your mom should have framed that certificate. What a bitch. But it's typical. I remember when I signed up for a typing class (called "keyboarding") and I told my aunt about it, she was all excited. Then she realized I wasn't talking about the musical instrument (her kids are both musicians) then she was like "oh" with a disappointed face. Well, I became a successful computer nerd, so don't care.

They want rich mates but when boys have hobbies that make them rich later they would prefer boys having hobbies that make them cool

I learned 10 finger typing in a voluntary class in 5th grade or so. One of the best decisions in my youth. I still have the certificate around. I always wanted to add that thing next to my other certificates to a job application for the lulz but never had the guts to do so.
Lying on the couch with a laptop. Moving to my desk with a normal keyboard now.
>>23464 This was also me btw: >>23232 I can't be the only phoneposter ITT. Post your results, zoomers. I know from the age thread on /b/ that I'm far from the youngest here.
>>23456 >>23462 this is good i was sure the nerds here would post 150-200 results to make me feel like a retard
>>23477 You have to go back to 30s tests though. 15s is cheating.
grew up with computers, I guess. + nice logitech mx - still a bit on ket not doing 10 fingers - never tried this before and now I find it addicting. Will try tomorrow morning when sober
>>23499 Is it just me or is it just super hard writing this absolute nonsense? If I can go ahead a sentence it feels a lot easier to write rather than disconnected words.
>>23501 Yeah it takes some time to get used to. Try the quote mode instead of time mode. It has punctuation and case sensitivity though.
like 48 wpm max t. motorically challenged muhfucka
55 WPM, but it's in Mondsprache (English) and I haven't really used a computer to type in the last two years.
